Aspirating Smoke Detection | Ultra-Sensitive Smoke Detection System VESDA
Detects smoke at ultra-early stages with 10,000 times the sensitivity of a conventional smoke detector.
The ultra-sensitive smoke detection system "VESDA" detects extremely small amounts of smoke particles by analyzing air drawn from pipes through aspirating smoke detection (ASD), allowing for the very early detection of fire incidents. It boasts an ultra-high sensitivity that is 10,000 times greater than the operational concentration of typical smoke detectors (10%/m). By identifying fires early, it enables timely response and evacuation, protecting lives, equipment, and property from fire. It can detect even trace amounts of smoke that do not reach the ceiling, allowing for quicker responses than conventional smoke detectors and preventing the spread of fire. ■ Detects fires extremely early, buying time for response ■ High flexibility to accommodate any building shape ■ Integration with other systems: can connect to central monitoring systems and external PCs ■ Suitable for data centers receiving Tier 2 or higher facility standard evaluations ■ Ideal for fire prevention against battery abnormalities in power supply equipment and uninterruptible power supplies New product information: Additional accessory lineup - Remote module for remote monitoring - Can connect to the monitoring network of detectors - Compatible with 19-inch subracks
